Aaron Colton, President
Aaron Colton, President of ICS, has two decades of experience leading successful systems integration companies in Silicon Valley. Aaron founded ICS in 2002, and has grown the company into one of the leading systems integration firms in Northern California. Before founding ICS, Aaron was the President and CEO of Ceitronics for 16 years. Under Aaron's guidance, Ceitronics grew from a start up to a revenue volume of over $30 million by 2001.
Active within the communications contracting industry, Aaron has been a member of the National Electrical Contractors Association since 1989, and the National Sound and Communications Association since 1986. He chaired negotiations for District Collective Bargaining “Sound and Communications” Agreements for IBEW, District 9, in 1992, 1994, 1996, and 1999, and is a former Trustee for the Labor Management Cooperation Committee and Trust for the San Francisco Bay Area District. He is currently a Board Member for the Santa Clara Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association. Aaron holds a B.S. in Business Administration from California State University, Chico.

Don Haygood, Fire/Life Safety Division Manager
As Fire/Life Safety Systems Manager at ICS, Don Haygood is responsible for project leadership, site coordination, scheduling, material controls, and managing contracts from conceptual design through completion. Prior to joining ICS, Don spent over 15 years at Ceitronics as a Project Superintendent, Technician, and Installer. Don brings a wide range of experience and training to his current position including a thorough understanding of NFPA and building code applicable to Life Safety. He has expert knowledge of many brands of fire and life/safety systems, Intercom, and phone switches, including factory certifications on Radionics, Firelite, Rauland Borg, and Vodavi system products.

Kurt Ikerd, Project Manager
Kurt Ikerd is a highly knowledgeable and respected manager who brings over 15 years of structured wiring systems experience and service contract management to ICS. Before joining ICS, Kurt managed the service department at Ceitronics and was also responsible for day-to-day operations at the IBM/Hitachi Global Storage Technologies in south San Jose. His current certifications include Commscope/Uniprise, Panduit, OCC, 3M and AT&T. In his capacity as Project Manager at ICS, Kurt's duties include estimating/bidding, engineering and managing field installations relating to inside plant and outside plant voice/data systems and audio visual systems. Kurt is experienced in fiber optics, EIA/TIA 568 copper infrastructure, and MATV distribution systems.

Curtis Gibson, Project Manager
Curtis specializes in Project Managing structured cabling system projects and communication requirements for the Education market. He is factory trained and certified for TELECOR. In addition Curtis handles the lead management responsibilities associated with District wide and school campus modernization and technology upgrade projects inclusive of Fire Alarm, CCTV, Master Clock, Paging, site cable infrastructure, wireless networks, VOIP and Intercom. Prior to joining ICS Curtis was Lead Estimator for Ceitronics.

Nick Taylor, Project Manager/Audio-Visual Systems
Nick Taylor brings over 25 years of Systems Integration experience to the ICS team. Formerly with Sony Electronics' "SIC" as both a Project Manager and Engineering Manager responsible for day-to-day activities in the Broadcast Division, Nick has many high profile projects under his belt to draw from for our AV implementations. Some past projects include highly complex production systems for NBC, CBS and FOX networks, numerous sports stadiums, post production systems, entertainment venues and mobile production vehicles. Nick's in depth knowledge of these complex systems and their unique installation requirements brings a well grounded base to our Audio-Visual system projects at ICS.

Jim Thielemann, Project Manager/Audio-Visual Systems
Jim Thielemann is a Senior Project Manager with 30 years of experience in the Audio Visual industry, having spent the last 20 years in the Bay area at Ceitronics. Jim has numerous technical certifications and completed the CTS program through the International Communication Industry Association. Throughout his career Jim has successfully completed several marquee projects such as the San Francisco City Hall renovation, the new San Jose City Hall, the San Francisco War Memorial Opera renovation, multiple entertainment venues at Cache Creek Casino & Hotel and numerous corporate meeting spaces for Franklin Templeton, Varian, Safeway, Hewlett Packard, Autodesk, Intuit, PeopleSoft, SAP to name a few. Jim's background lends itself to both design build situations and build to specification construction management in the public and private sector.

Mark Berlo, Project Manager/Audio-Visual Systems
Mark Berlo is an Audio and Video specialist that has worked in the industry for more than 15 years. After managing and collaborating on a number of key projects for Ceitronics from 1998, he has earned the respect of many of the manufacturers and consultants in the industry. He has extensive knowledge and experience of audio DSP and is certified in programming Peavey Media Matrix, Page Matrix, Nion, Biamp Audia, Biamp Nexia, Symetrix Symnet, Shure DFR, Polycom Vortex, Sound Structure, Lectrosonics, BSS Soundweb, London, Renkus-Heinz, EAW, and Yamaha. His understanding of acoustics, echo cancellation, network audio, digital video, and integration make him a valuable asset to ICS.

Joe Semorad, Purchasing and Operations Manager
Joe Semorad, a veteran of more than 30 years in the systems integration industry, brings a strong background in operations management and vendor management to ICS. Before joining ICS, Joe spent 14 years as operations and purchasing manager for Ceitronics. At Ceitronics, Joe managed procurement strategies and vendor relationships for a number of high-profile projects, including the $6.2 million San Francisco City Hall renovation. Previous to his tenure at Ceitronics, Joe served as operations manager for RFI Electronics in San Jose.

Bruce Utzerath, Product Department Manager-Superintendent
Bruce Utzerath has been managing communication construction projects since the early 1980’s. He has a broad range of skills and experience related to structured cabling and fiber optic infrastructure, large venue audio and video systems, and multi disciplined communication systems typical to large commercial and industrial facilities. Prior to joining ICS, Bruce was a field superintendent for Alco Paramount and Ceitronics in San Jose. Bruce holds numerous technical certificates and has complete training in BISCI, LMI Management, Fiber Optics and AV System installation techniques.

Tim Silva, Production Supervisor
A 25-year veteran of the systems integration industry, Tim oversees the ICS Field Production Department. Tim has a wide ranging background in the low voltage industry, and has served as a project manager, operations manager, field supervisor, project foreman, security service technician and alarm installer. Before joining ICS, he spent the majority of his career at RFI in San Jose, where he directed the Service Department and was responsible for the management of the service call center.

Criss Montes, Accountant
Criss Montes brings over 25 years of experience as a controller/internal accountant in the construction industry to her current position as accountant/bookkeeper at ICS. Criss is certified in American Contractor Job Costing Accounting Software. Her responsibilities include payroll, union reports and audits, accounts payable, accounts receivable, sales tax, and banking.

Justin Gamble, Service Manager
Justin is responsible for managing the ICS service department with specific responsibilities relating to post completion warranty requirements, preventative maintenance programs, minor system modifications, and “on going” service contracts. He is also involved in Audio and Video conference system design, installation and support. Justin is certified with Polycom and the Vortex product line. Prior to joining ICS, Justin was branch manager for a Charter Cable a local Cable TV provider in the south Bay Area. Justin has a Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State (Tempe) in Broadcast Communications.
