Chiron, Emeryville
ICS designed and installed several video and audio conferencing systems at Chiron. ICS also coordinated the integration of satellite internet access and a backup phone system which allows the conference room to additionally function as an emergency operations center. A series of preliminary meetings with the client’s various internal departments allowed ICS to plan the best system for the company’s unique needs. The state-of-the art equipment used included Stewart film screens, NEC plasma screens, Polycom video and audio conferencing systems, and Crestron control systems. In addition, ICS provides ongoing service and maintenance of the system.
HSBC North America, Salinas and New York
International financial institution HSBC hired ICS to design, integrate, and install a major AV upgrade to the Salinas facility’s executive board room. The existing system lacked any “as-built” so ICS had the added responsibility of documenting the existing system in conjunction with designing the upgrade. ICS converted the existing Picture-Tel video conferencing system to Polycom audio and video conferencing equipment and also upgraded to Creston Control hardware and touch panels (user interfaces) and the operating program. ICS provides ongoing service for the new system. As a result of the project’s success, ICS was also commissioned for the design/build of an executive conference room for a remote HSBC site at its New York office.
Agile Software, San Jose
The design/build project at Agile Software included an executive conference room and an executive board room. The system, designed after needs assessment and a series of planning meetings with the executive management. The system includes Proxima projectors, Stewart film screens, Polycom audio and video conferencing equipment, and AMX control systems. ICS also reinstalled presentation systems for 10 small conference rooms which were relocated from the old facility to the new location.
